Abstract

This work addresses the issue of reciprocal perceptions from a perspective on the Chilean-Bolivian relationship and the disagreements that have marked its development, the spaces of coincidence, tensions and rough edges, the suspended and resumed dialogues. Despite how negative it may seem, it is a very special and very close relationship. Reviewing how we have done in the past can help us understand the present and get closer to the future. Chile is an important neighbor for Bolivia. Understanding it in this way, we can also give our attention to Bolivia with the priority it deserves. This has not always been the case and on the Bolivian side it has been misunderstood and resentment has arisen.
