Abstract

The significant and alarmed increased of the precarious urban establishments has configured Maracaibo as an informal city. The true of the matter is that it is not assimilated with ease by the city’s formal sector, which is resistant to lose its importance for the advancement of the other. In this sense, it is imperative to find improvement of the quality of life of the people living in these sectors through the acknowledgement of its cultural values and need of communal and familiar space. Such findings also contemplates the formation of autonomous organizations which will not only stay but will also act further than the process of auto construction and renovation of the habitat, creating self managed and autonomic communities that are oriented towards the finding of resources to accomplish and pursue projects of development and improvement. For this reason, the participation and organization of the communities is fundamental for the defense and improvement of ours precarious urban establishments, because this will permit the guarantee of quality of urban space for the benefit of everyone, aiming to impact in a very positive way the urban politics, as well as to strength the participation and appropriation of the programs in behave of the communities, as a way of going forward to advance in the discover of an equal, responsible and unify society with the right of housing and adequate context.
